ABOUT GINA THOMPSON
Gina Thompson has almost 20 years of experience in the beauty industry.
Her journey began as a makeup artist and she has furthered her career by
blending her artistic talents with the exciting world of plastic surgery.
She has been an integral part of developing skin care and Aesthetic programs
for various plastic surgery centers in the Midwest and Hawaii and continues
to provide private consulting services for medical facilities across the
country.
Gina earned her certification as a Medical Aesthetician and Paramedical
Camouflage Therapist from the Advanced Aesthetics Institute in Salt Lake
City, Utah. She also completed advanced studies in fashion photographic
makeup from Complections International in Toronto, Canada. She is an active
member of the SPSSCS (Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists),
the NCEA (National Coalition of Estheticians, Manufacturers/Distributors
& Associations), AIW (American Independent Writers) and co-founder
of MAP (the Medical and Aesthetic Professional Network).
Her roles in the beauty industry have included makeup artist, Medical Aesthetician,
Aesthetic manager, marketing coordinator, consultant, public speaker and
newspaper columnist. Gina is truly passionate about today's ever-changing
face of beauty. "I've seen the evolution of the beauty industry firsthand
and have given lots of advice over the years." Her goals include sharing
her extensive knowledge with people wanting simple, practical, and trustworthy
